the "G2" Harpers web site.
"G2" refers to
a unique hapholog based on DNA testing of the Y chromosome, which is
passed down virtually unchanged from father to son for generations.
More information about the G2 haplogroup is available by clicking on
the "About" button on the left. This web site provides a
place for accumulating data where persons researching
Harper antecedents with the relatively rare G2 haplogroup. At the
present time, genealogical information is available on three G2
Harper lines and a G2 Hill line descending from:
William B. Harper, b. abt 1785 in South
Carolina, d. abt. 1841 in Henry County, Tennessee. If you have

time (other than the genetic link) none of these family lines has
